Finn was taken by the First Order as a kid so he all he knew was mopping floors and stormtrooper uniforms.

While there weren’t any sparks flying – if you know what I want I mean – Roanhorse took the relationship to a different level and they had more of a brotherly love.įinn doesn’t have as much of a diverse life experience as Poe. While they were both in difficult states mentally, one of the best things about the book was the relationship between Finn and Poe. Finn is dealing with the effects of the fall out. Poe is reeling from his decisions that led to the Resistance being decimated. Resistance Reborn takes place after the events of The Last Jedi. If not for that, we may not have gotten some of the sweet moments between the two.
